The invention of non-Cantorian set theory - part 1   [ part 2 ]

Circa 1970 Overbeck burned his book entitled 'Non-Cantorian Set Theory' after a 'divine being' entered the room he was working in. Subsequently, he destroyed many hundreds of pages supporting his ideas in the foundations of mathematics. Yet to gain a scholarship in this subject he wrote out 2 notebooks summarizing some of his ideas on his search for transfinite fractions. Gaining the scholarship and its grant he changed direction to study Patristic Theology, specializing in the Vision of God. He asserts he was visited by 'entities of great glory' and, after Christ Himself walked into his study, he was lifted on numerous occasions into Heaven itself.
